Nelson Mandela day with the MiX Telematics team (South Africa) making a difference to uplift Sibongi


The MiX Telematics team contacted Call 2 Care to engage in a CSR program for Mandela Day that would leave their team feeling positively charged while making a sustainable difference to a community close to the office.

MiX Telematics​ spent two days cooking a delicious and nutritious meal for over 220 community members in need, donating key ingredients to the centre, hosting an art class for the children of the creche, and repainting the exterior of the creche and trauma center home.

Sibongile was absolutely thrilled with the support.

Sibongile Crèche is an Early Childhood Development Center located in the Kayamandi township community. The crèche forms part of the Women and Children Development Initiative of Kayamandi that provides trauma counseling, empowerment and nutritional care to the women that need it most. Despite the limited resources and shocking infrastructure available, the center strives to make a difference by providing free day care services to women who are actively in search of employment to support their family.
