The Journey so far
Rooted in Gugulethu, Cape Town
Origins
CTO met Amasoja, Youth in Gugulethu seeking safety, and began supporting their shift towards community leadership.
2016 – 2020
Mentoring, life skills and practical support helped young people grow as leaders and organise activities for others.
Pandemic
Many activities paused. Local engagement continued on a smaller scale, sustaining relationships and keeping the vision alive.
2025–2026
CTO and Call 2 Care developed a structured programme in 2025, supported by Sida. The first cycle launched in February 2026.
