Seedling Workshop at Thembani Primary School

Proud is an understatement in terms of how we feel seeing the students at Thembani Primary school taking responsibility for growing seedlings. ❤️

Our previous workshop focused on all aspects of growing seeds into delicious, nutritious food. The workshop focused on explaining how seeds, much like 'babies' of plants, contain the plant's embryo and, only once the seed begins to show life and germinate, it becomes a 'seedling'. It was amazing to see this knowledge come to life as each student held their own seedling. The students will be ready to plant their seedlings in our water wise iGardi boxes at the next workshop.
