Thanks to PPECB, 6 schools and communities centres in the Drakenstein and Metro districts, received a care parcel of Tea, Coffee, Milk, Biscuits and loads of love!
Unakho Children's Home, The Gogos Garden, Simondium Primary School and Thembani Primary School received their care parcels last week, and it warmed the hearts of the teachers and caretakers to be considered on Mandela Day.
Care-Takers and Teachers are such integral parts of our community and society and their incredibly selfless & tireless work, is often overlooked - especially in underserved areas where challenges for basic goods and services confront them daily. This kind gesture went a long way to making the teachers smile, feel appreciated and encouraged them to rest - a basic human right, that in the endless progression of life, isn't valued enough!
