May 2018 Paint & Sip events for a good cause



UPCOMING EVENTS

Paint & Sip lets you uncork your creativity as an experienced local artist takes you step by step to paint a masterpiece while raising funds for Call 2 Care (NPO). Please click on the images below to navigate to the ticketing portal to book your seats. You can also e-mail info@call2care.org.za for ticket inquiries. We typically close ticket sales a few days before the event and reserve a limited amount of tickets. Only with your support are we at Call 2 Care able to make a difference - see the highlights from last month and the difference we made at the bottom of this page. DIFFERENCES MADE TO OUR COMMUNITIES

Please see below for highlights of the community development work completed at our beneficiaries - all thanks to your support.

 

A weekly after school program where the little ones will benefit from a number of Call 2 Care initiatives including food security, education, mental health and much more. This specific lesson planned was designed around arts and crafts as well as gardening where each student was assigned a piece of the gardens that they will now be responsible for.

A harvest at Marconi Beam Primary School and the implementation of a Water-wise Vegetable garden.

 

Volunteer, Paint, Creche, Early Childhood Development, Give Back

We repainted the walls of Sibongile Creche with a fresh coat of paint, repaired a leaking tap and eradicated a major cockroach problem.... hooray!

 


Lotus park, Early childhood development, vegetable gardens

Workshops completed with Mums at Lotus Park's Early Childhood Development Center. She harvested some tomatoes for the little ones in her care.

 

NPO, vegetable harvest, give back, volunteer

Major harvest at Saint Joseph's school for the chronically ill. We also implemented an additional water wise vegetable garden to allow the wheelchair children to also participate in our gardening program as the gardens allow just the right level of height.
