"My name is Tashai Simons. I was born in South Africa in 1995 but raised in Australia where I finished High School, and moved back here for love. How cheesy! I graduated from Trinity College London with my Licentiate degree in Teaching Performance arts & NCT for a level 2 Certification in Visual Arts & Contemporary crafts. Everything I am involved in is creative. When it's not painting, it's singing, or playing piano, or dancing or some crazy DIY project.
During the day I work at a school in Milnerton as the head of their Arts department, where I teach all their creative development programs and run the extra mural academy, and in my free time I like to get creative for a cause! I also run a Sports NPO with my beautiful wife, and we love being involved in the community.
I enjoy painting in a variety of styles and colours, but my favorite is Acrylic Monochrome. Something about the simplicity of a crisp black and white painting is so striking to me. You can see more of my art by searching #artbytashai on any social media platform.
