EVERY CHILD DESERVES AN INSPIRING PLACE TO LEARN
WHERE? Thembani Primary School, Langa - Cape Town's Oldest Township
WHY? Call 2 Care started an outdoor vegetable garden and learning program in 2018 and we are passionate about supporting Thembani's learners. Maintenance is very rarely accounted for or afforded in under-resourced schools, like Thembani Primary School. We are proud of the learners' development and want to see each and every one of them prosper in a beautiful classroom.
WHEN? TO BE DETERMINED AT A LATER & SAFER TIME
WHAT? Call 2 Care and Thembani are excited to paint all 30 classrooms at Thembani and give the learners an indoor learning environment that inspires them. Strict COVID-19 Protocols will be adhered to during the fun event with maximum of 10 individuals per team assigned to each classroom, supported with a lead facilitator and teacher from the school. The revamp will also be completed during school holidays.

R200 per person/per time-slot
R380 per person for 2 time-slots & inclusive Lunch
* All donations will help procure the resources required and are validated with a Section 18A donation certificate that can be submitted to SARS for a tax rebate.
Highlights from our previous event included loads of laughs along the way, where two teams were assigned to two classrooms in a battle to the finish line. The winning team were judged by the school's teachers and crowned the winner.

DETAILS:
Each 2.5 Hour slot includes expert facilitation, painting the walls of 1 classroom, scraping and repainting of blackboards, a quick clean up of paint supplies, a refreshment break and an opportunity to order delicious food from Jordan's Way of Cooking Food Truck. The session is designed to be fun, thrilling and competitive.
